  • We visited this cafe based on its reputation from various shows such as Man Vs. Food. The restaurant was so popular that it took 30 minutes before we got a seat for two.

We both ordered omelets, with me ordering the 12-egg five pounder and my friend ordering the 6-egg omelet. I had the Southwest Exposure and my friend had the Bacon omelet. I didn't really notice anything too unique about the omelet because I wolfed it down in under 10 minutes, but it was good and large. My friend enjoyed his omelet a lot. I then had the apple pie with ice cream. It was some of the best pie I've had recently (around 8/10). We also had the Amish bread, which was way too sweet but good with coffee.

The service was surprisingly good and quick, considering the crowd. The waitress filled up the drinks constantly and asked us how we were doing. She even commented that I was better than Adam Richman for finishing the omelet.

The atmosphere is either hit or miss, depending on the person. The restaurant is a typical diner setting, but it's decorated with customer drawings. It's either hip or meh, and I'm leaning towards the meh side. However, I did really enjoy the open kitchen where customers could see everything the cooks were doing.

Overall, I'd recommend this restaurant for good, large portions at a decent price.

  • While I can kind of understand why people might come here after a long night of drinking, Im almost positive that any sober person would be disqusted by beths.
The food was mediocre and greasy and you can find better coffee. When I went to the bathroom, not only were there paper towels littering the floor (but none in the dispenser) there was no soap either. When I told our waitress about it, she showed no concern and rolled her eyes about it. So the staff must not be adhearing to the washing their hands before returning to work rule.
I would never recommend beths and I will never go back in a million years. DISGUSTING
