  • This was our first time visitng Boss Hawg's. My husband ordered Grey Goose on the rocks. He complained that it had a flowery smell and tasted sweet. When he complained, he was told that all drinks are measured with a shot glass so everyone gets the same pour. She also told us the female bartender didn't rinse the shot glass from the previous pour and it was for a sweet liquer. She told us the name but I had not heard of it before. There was no refund for the drink. I ordered the Hawgarita - never again. It was down right awful. Don't mistake it for a margarita; it is more like a daquiri. I then replaced it with a Black Velvet and coke. I requested that they wash the shot glass. When I got my drink, it tasted more like Jack Daniels. Black Velvet is my drink of choice so I know what it tastes like. I must admit that the french fries were the best. We were hoping to take friends there, but we will probably pass, since they really don't care about the drinks.

  • Order: Grey Goose, Black Velvet and coke, Hawgarita, french fries

  • 2-27-09 I went to Boss Hawgs on 102nd & Glisan for dinner. This was my second visit there. There were people smoking OUTSIDE THE ENTRANCE instead of being inside the area for smoking. I told the bouncer/security guard when i was leaving the bar that I didn't like having to walk through the smokers and he said he would take care of it. He watched me walk out the door THROUGH the smokers and didn't ask the people to move out of the way.

  • It's the first time we went there last night, my friend recommended to get "Hot wings". At first I thought he said 'Hot Wings", after I looked at the menu, I realized that he meaned "Hawg Wings". It's not chicken wings at all. It's like pork ribs, the meat was so tender and fell apart from the bone, it melted in my mouth. It was very delicious. Also, the quesadilla with smoked pork came with salsa, sour cream and guacamole were pretty yummy. It was very crowded last night because it was happy hour til 11pm. The waitress was very nice, too. Delicious food, good service and cheap drinks, where else can you go?!

  • Order: appetizers: Hawg wings and quesadilla with smoked pork

  • I LOVE this place! I usually eat her about twice a week. For all you night shifters out there they have a great breakfast deal: for $3.00 you get two eggs any style, hash browns, toast and 2 pieces of bacon! Happy hour prices untill 11:00 means their micr brew pints are only $2.75! And the bear of the day is always $2.50 all day! They have a great BBQ sauce provided by Badass BBQ that they use on their huge 1/2lb burgers as well as their entrees like Badass BBQ ribs and Baddass linquine! The prices are very reasonable and they give you a ton of food! This is a locally owned neighboorhood pub and you will see the owner there often. Great service and tons of Big screen HD TV's for watching the game. They have awesome MNF parties and they are always doing give aways! This is a great place to come especially if you are a sports fan and/or you like to eat! At night it is pretty loud and rowdy with live music or a DJ and a party atmosphere. Morning and mid-day it is a nice place to relax & enjoy a quiet meal.

  • Order: Badsass BBQ ribs, Redhook ESB
