  • The aloo tikki was delicious, albeit served with a sauce reminiscent of Thai food. The butter chicken was bland, mustard coloured, filled with coconut and mostly flavourless. Chicken Dhansak was alright but the amount of spice hid the flavours that might have been there. Naan was very dry and too crispy in the middle. Overall it was passable but I don't feel the food was worth the money. The atmosphere was a bit dated and it felt more like you were eating in the waiting room of a doctors office.

  • Order: Aloo tikki, Butter Chicken, Chicken Dhansak, Naan

  • "The best meal of our lives" was the consensus that I and my girlfriend came to. Also " a sensual dinning experience" and I personally felt as though I had never really tasted food before. A completely amazing experience.

Details: Party of two. We spent roughly $34 dollars total. I had the mixed vegetable curry with rice and mango chutney. My girlfriend had lamb Korma ( lamb in thick spicey sauce with flat bread dabbed with oil). Both were cooked and seasoned to perfection, served with gusto in fine metal bowls with more standard containers for side dishes. The portions were generous. Continuous refills of water were provided as they were needed, which was often considering the spicey fair. The atmosphere was perfect, with light music of many varieties having a subtle Indian flare, beautiful decor and the fun, quirky design of the older building that they have set up in with several other businesses.

At the end of the evening we got to meet the owner, who handled our check and had a lovely conversation with us for several minutes. We'll definitely be back.

I am an Indian and could see that food at this place was worst meal of my life. What do you expect from a Chinese/Phillipino cook? The person at the counter was very rude when I complained about the food. They do not even know what 'spicy' means...
