  • Went there for the first time last night and am never going again. My friend went up to the bar to get a drink, and after waiting in line for awhile she finally got to the front, when the bartenders friend came. The bartender talked to his friend for 10 minutes, all while she was waiting there, then took a call on his cell phone, then a group of girls came to the bar. He hung up his phone, looked at my friend then looked at the girls, and said he was going to "serve the pretty girls first". He then gave her a dirty look when she didn't tip him when she finally got her drink. As someone who has worked in the service industry making way less money than a bartender (at a cafe, minimum wage, few tips) this is infuriating. You don't take phone calls while you're working, you don't chat with friends, and you don't make comments about customers perceived attractiveness level. Horrible service, way overpriced drinks, and there are way better bars on Osborne.

  • Will never step foot in there as long as Phil Kendrick works there. Based on his ethics and quality, I wouldn't want to enter any establishment where he works. His lack of concern has caused injury to family members and emotional strain from overhearing his constant swearing, yelling and threatening.

    Simply put, the man is rude, crass, loud and ignorant. His disgusting behavior will be avoided at all costs. Have steered many social engagements away from taking place at this establishment and will continue to do so as long as he works there.

  • Order: Beer, before I refused to go there.

  • I previously enjoyed this pub until my last experience where I had forgotten my credit card at the register at the end of the night as I had run for a cab. It was held at the register because I had placed a tab. I had later contacted them so I could retrieve my card and the gentleman informed me that they do not have it. I know for a fact that was where it was left so I had called to cancel my credit card. Now it seems as the credit card has had purchases made on it since I last had it in my possession.

    I called back and spoke to the manager informing him of the situation and that either A-the credit card was stolen by an employee or B-they gave my credit card to somebody else.
    The manager had nothing other than 'Ah sh*t.....uuummmm....uummmmm's to say followed by 'nobody stole your card' instead of saying I trust my employees’ fully and have every faith they would not have stolen your card' which I would have fully understood because I feel the same about the people I work with. No apologies’ for the inconvenience or misunderstanding, no offer of any sort of discount/compensation, no notion that he will bring the matter up to the staff and make sure it doesn’t happen again, literally nothing of any use. Also no interest in keeping my business after he let out a few more 'umm's then finally 'I don’t know what else to tell ya.' I told him I will no longer be coming to that establishment. A simple I'll make sure to remind the staff to be more careful would have sufficed and I would have continued going there but such a blatant lack of concern is ridiculous.

    I work in customer service and flat out refuse to be an irate customer who makes a scene, starts shouting or brings up issues in an unreasonable manner but it really makes me wonder if it would have made him take the scenario a little more seriously considering credit card fraud and identity theft is a growing issue.

    Not impressed at all considering the business we have brought and would have continued to bring..

    aside from this conclusive experience on other occasions I have found it very hard to get service when trying to order food or drinks aside from walking up to the bar. Once we had waited over an hour and a half for a waitress to come around and by then the kitchen was closed. The bathrooms are always messy and one has been broken for months....other than those common occurrences’ I have enjoyed my past experiences

wow... dont they have security cameras for that sort of thing? lazy owner probably just didnt feel like looking through all the footage
