  • the food was fantastic, my steak was so tender, the service was courtesy and efficient. We had a party of 15 , the waitress was on top all the time. The décor in the entry way is great.

  • OMG what a gong show. We've ordered there before with success but not yesterday. Yesterday we ordered dinner for 2 slightly modified. We substituted Ginger Beef for beef chop suey and added an order of almond chicken with a side of lemon sauce. Upon asking the total of the bill and told that the price had reflected the menu substitution of an additional 8 dollars for the Ginger beef (despite it being only 2 dollars more than the beef chop suey) bringing the order of 21.99 to 30 not including the chicken dish which brought it up to 46. Shortly after placing our order in which there would be a 1 hr wait we get a call informing us that the lemon sauce on the side would cost 2 no wait 3 dollars. We laugh and inform the guy he just made up a price, he then seemed conflicted and dropped the sauce down to 2.50 but 5 minutes before the 15 minute conversation ended he changed the price again saying it was 2.95...very tacky indeed. When we informed him that we were now being charged more than the lemon chicken why didn't we change the order to that if it was such a problem we were told that he couldn't do that even though the order was taking an hour and hadn't been processed.

Again this wasn't about the money but the poor money grubbing service we received to our now modified ordered of 49.35.

We should have been told of the price increase prior to ordering, secondly... really... really is canned lemon sauce worth the extra 3.00 when an order like that was placed and thirdly the quality of the food made food court food a better choice.

The fortune cookies we were promised were forgotten. The almond chicken was over fried and so dry i almost cut my gum, the chow mein was so overcooked that everything stuck together like a clump of off white goo. The menu said chicken but it was pork. The pork fried rice was very greasy and clearly made from yesterday's leftovers, the ginger beef was the greatest disappointment-so completely dry that it squeaked when we bit into but made for an excellent tooth polisher. 7 bites into the swill not fit for our canine...we gave up. Almond chicken had the consistency of sawdust even with the lemon sauce- terrible. It was the first time ever that neither of us were fighting to take leftovers for lunch in fact it's sitting in the fridge- I wouldn't even give this to homeless people it's of such poor quality. I guess the burnt out derelict sign and the rundown shape of the place should be a warning. Worst experience ever....

  • The portion size ratio to the price is amazing!! I had the Sante Fe Bene and had to return the next morning for another!! My son loved his chocolate chip pancakes and his trip to the treasure cave for a special toy. This is his favourite place to eat and he's 6!! Amazing all around experience!

I love their recent renovations too and am thrilled to be able to buy a full loaf of their amazing homemade bread right next door at their new bake shop.
